| General Overview | For as long as Tifa could recall she was different, even as a young child she knew it. Felt something about herself was different, even from her older brothers. Tifa did her best to fit in to be like everyone else. It wasn't an easy task for her. When she was ten years old there was a snowstorm the last week of school in May. Tifa had been pushed down during lunch by accident two boys had gotten in a fight during lunch and one was pushed into her knocking them both down. She had been hurt and was angry that the boys hadn't apologized. The snowstorm had happened inside the building rather than outside. When Tifa realized that it was snowing inside her anger was forgotten and was replaced with surprise. The storm had stopped the instant her anger had dissipated. Tifa had thought about the pain in her scrapped knee allowing herself to become angry again which caused the snowstorm to start all over again, not little flurries a full-blown storm. Surprised and a little afraid Tifa had told herself she would never allow herself to get angry like that again. She did not know how it had happened but the boy who had knocked the other down had noticed what had happened as well. He never let her forget it by constantly teasing her. |

| Personal History | Tifa Valentine was born on May 12th, 2004 to Elizabeth and Victor Valentine. Her family lived on a ranch on the outskirts of Hadley, Massachusetts. Her mother died in a car accident before her 10th birthday. Since her 10th birthday, Tifa has been suppressing the ability to make it snow. Sometimes though when she's all alone she finds herself manipulating the snow that's already around her. During the winter she spent most of her time outside despite her father's constant warning that it's too cold. Her brothers were the only other people she would talk to outside of one friend at school who no matter what anyone said never abandoned Tifa. FiFi as Tifa calls her short for Fiona even knew about Tifa's strange ability to manipulate snow and they kept it between them. Even still Tifa tries to use her magic as little as possible around others she even hides it from her family. Tifa liked to sit in the woods that circled the farmhouse that they lived on with her pet a snow ferret that Tifa had named Snow thief for her penchant to steal anything shiny and her snowy white fur. On her 14th birthday, Tifa's father gave her the family heirloom that her mother had planned to give her on this day had she survived the car crash. It was a beautiful sterling silver snowflake pendant that had been handed down from generation to generation to the firstborn daughter. However, the pendant seemed to have a reaction to the magic inside of her and made her far more connected to it. Which also made it far harder for her to control it now than it was before. |
